This is something I've been thinking about a lot. I've been building web apps since the late 90s. The last piece of software I was intimidated to use was Microsoft Exchange Server in the early 2000s.

But my gosh - you open up any current LLM app and if you have even a touch of ADHD your brain is instantly fried. Right now the AI model is simply "Feature Release". Pedal to the floor, what industry are we going to kill next, release it NOW.

This is why the gap is getting wider in my opinion. I think someone, at some point, needs to switch from "here are the 57 tools across 17 established known industries" to - "What would like to do today?"

Once someone starts focusing on LLMs being easier to use versus LLMs being used for everything, the people floating the gap might start to join the party.
